Over the years, I have seen that people have become more interested in fitness. There are more gyms than ever. People of all ages do gymnastics and focus on fitness and nutrition. They are taking their entire fitness game seriously.

What do you think are the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to losing weight or fitness?

The biggest mistake people make is trying to copy what works for someone else. We are all different and what works for them may not work for you. Also, if you follow a workout with your friend and complain that she is losing weight but not you, then you should know that it is just the workout that you are doing together, clearly, she is doing other things that are helping her achieve results. what you are not doing.

Something similar happens with nutrition. People come to me and tell me that I eat very little, yet I am still not losing weight. But what they overlook is that eating too little or eating too much is detrimental to the weight loss process. That is why it is important that you experiment with your diet.

Little things like how much oil you are using while cooking also play an important role. So eat a certain portion and see if it’s working for you. If so, keep adjusting the portions and you will soon see good results.

Are you coming to the weight training and cardio debate?

I feel that both are important and have different roles to play. When you start running or walking on the treadmill, the weight loss process stops there, but when you do weight training, like deadlifts, you continue to burn calories even after you finish the workout. So that’s the difference between the two.

What are some simple weight loss tricks that people can follow?

The most important thing is what you eat. One should try to have more homemade food and avoid packaged and processed foods. There is a lot of variety when it comes to vegetables, fruits, and protein. Therefore, one must learn to add all the variables so that they do not get bored of healthy home cooking. Don’t eat the same food every day. Keep options ready.

Do nothing temporarily. Look for lifestyle changes that will transform your life. Focus on 5 meals: three main meals and two snacks. Diet plans are like punishment and you soon get bored with what you eat. When you are pursuing a goal or have a deadline, you can go on intermittent fasting or a specific diet, but in the long run, you shouldn’t torture yourself.

Second, it is important to start some physical activity. Be it yoga, sports, running or walking, anything that helps you get your heart rate up. And then once you’re comfortable with it, you should look at ways to improve your fitness levels by opting for stronger workouts.
